PATHWAYS TO MORE SUSTAINABLE FUTURES
April-September 2023
This is our third collaborative inquiry aimed at learning to live for a more sustainable future. This lifelong-lifewide learning initiative is open to anyone of any age or background. Our goal is to help us learn to live lives that are more likely to help nature and the environment and contribute to a future that is more sustainable. We will do this by creating our own pathways along which we can journey with other people who also want to mitigate the damage humans have inflicted on our planet and the life it supports. Pathways to a more sustainable future is intended to demonstrate how participating in lifelong-lifewide learning that is undertaken on behalf of nature and environmental wellbeing, can be encouraged, supported and recognised. We all need to be inspired - here are two very humble men who have spent a large part of their lives helping nature - Inspiring people committed to helping nature.

The UN's 17 SDGs and 169 Targets provide a framework for thinking about the needs of humanity, nature and the non-living world in order to achieve a more sustaunable future. While particular Goals address the needs of natiure half of the 169 Targets depend on nature for their achievement (1).
