BACKGROUND

This is the first inquiry where we are trying to bring together the Lifewide Education and Creative Academic/#creativeHE communities. Our aim isto improve understanding of the way in which individuals and groups of people can bring about healthy change in their world by exploring the relationships and interdependencies between action, creativity and learning for healthy, sustainable, regenerative futures and personal wellbeing. We want to build, support and facilitate a ‘collective’ comprising a community of people involved in Action Learning Projects to be conducted over 3 months (March-June 2022).

Each ALP is unique but all ALPs aim to make progress towards changing understanding, attitudes and habits in ways that: 1) contribute towards a healthier, more sustainable, regenerative future, culture and/or environment for any of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, 2) utilise individuals’ imaginations and draw on their creativity and 3) contribute to individuals’ health and wellbeing. Our collective learning and wisdom will be curated and shared through a joint publication of Lifewide/Creative Academic Magazine and this will contribute to the UNESCO Futures of Education initiative.

If you would like to join our collaborative inquiry please email Norman Jackson [email protected]
