Lifewide Education Strategic Review and 2030 Vision
As we enter a new decade it is right to review our role and work as an organisation for our community and refresh our approach and what we have to offer for the years ahead. Our strategic review sets out our achievements since 2011 and draws attention to the need to revitalize the organisation in order make it more effective, relevant and sustainable so that it is better able to serve and work with the diverse communities that have an interest in lifewide learning and education. The significant idea underlying our work is captured in the inspiring words of Eduard Lindeman, written nearly a century ago, 'the whole of life is learning therefore education can have no ending'. It is this inspiring vision that has caught our imagination - a comprehensive, inclusive, ecological, lifewide and lifelong concept of learning and development embracing all the dimensions of our life that is the most relevant and appropriate concept of what learning means for the uncertain, turbulent and disruptive white water world we inhabit now and in our future.
